Senior students who attend the event are eligible to win $1,000 with the submission of an essay regarding their experience at Construction Career Days, their most current report card and a teacher referral. The scholarship sub-committee chooses one winner from each of the Central Florida counties that participate in CCD. These scholarships are made possible by the generous sponsorship and participation of companies in the Annual CCD Golf Tournament.
Students attending the following schools won a scholarship in 2019:
Brevard County – Rockledge HS and Viera HS
Lake County – Mount Dora HS
Orange County – Edgewater HS and Mid-Florida Tech
Osceola County – Poinciana HS
Volusia County – Pine Ridge HS
$1000 (per county)
One student from each school district – Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties.
Application Procedure: Write an essay of at least 400 and no more than 750 words.
