Why Get Involved

Hey Florida contractors, design firms, material and equipment suppliers, CEIs and all providers to FDOT and the heavy/civil community.

You may already know how valuable Construction Career Days is to our industry.

Please consider doing something to continue this great tradition.

  • Volunteer your time for a day and get to meet the kids as a chaperon, help with MOT, or other service. We need hundreds for each of the two days!
  • If you are an equipment operator, we especially need you!
  • Host a learning lab on any topic related to your company or the road-building industry.
  • Provide equipment or other displays.
  • Any donation large or small, such as water, gift certificates, and food for our volunteers, is also appreciated.
  • We also need “swag” for student gift bags – in quantity – from pens to small useful gadgets – especially if it includes your company name.
  • Host your own exhibit table and promote your company and service to prospective young employees.
  • Most of all we would like your sponsorship – this event, especially transportation and facility rent, costs money!
