Northwest Florida CCD serves FDOT District 3. With a land area of nearly 11,500 square miles and 16 counties in Northwest Florida, numerous employment opportunities, now and in the future, are available in the road and bridge construction industry. Its 1.4 million residents contribute to the 26.1 million miles traveled daily on its highways. FDOT provides capital, operating assistance and grant funds for three deep-water ports, four major rail lines, and 80 public and private airports.
